Food Program (CACFP)
USDA revised the CACFP meal patterns to ensure children and adults have access to healthy, balanced meals throughout the day. Under the child and adult meal patterns, meals served include a greater variety of vegetables and fruit, more whole grains, and less added sugar and saturated fat. The meal patterns are based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, scientific recommendations from the National Academy of Medicine, and stakeholder input. These changes went into affect on October 1, 2017.

Shop Gordon Food Service's most popular products for schools and daycares, organized in lists to help your program meet regulations. These lists are intended to assist in your menu planning to ensure you are using items with the appropriate documentation, therefore, it is recommended to only select items with confirmed documentation. Search for product availability by viewing your Distribution Center's column. Please note that manufacturers may change formulations, which can affect the content of products. It is good practice to verify information on the actual label of each product. The lists follow the National School Lunch Program guidelines and therefore, all of the products may not be allowed according to the CACFP guidelines. Please understand national and state guidance when making your item selections.
