Purpose: To educate participants on the basics of the FODMAP diet and to learn how and why this diet is used and implemented.

Objectives: By the end of this training module, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the FODMAP diet and why it is important for some individuals.

  • Identify high and low FODMAP foods/ingredients and be able to substitute high FODMAP foods for low FODMAP foods.

  • Understand the FODMAP diet and how it can affect the kitchen and meal requests.
