HEALTHCARE MENU SUBSTITUTIONS
Healthcare menu substitutions may need to occur for a variety of reasons, from changes with your order, miscounts with inventory or even staffing changes. Below are a number of resources designed to assist you with making menu substitutions.
2 Week Convenience/Temporary Menu
This short menu is intended for temporary use during crisis situations. Mainly convenience items are featured on this menu in order to account for staffing challenges and supply chain disruptions. The My Plate Meal Pattern guidelines are followed, to comply with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) regulation F-Tag 803: Menus must: Meet the nutritional needs of residents in accordance with established national guidelines.
-Diets available: Regular, Pureed and Mechanical Soft

-The menu is also available in Cycle Menu Management (CMM), however, please refer to the shopping list above instead of using the shopping list feature in CMM.
