CENTERS FOR MEDICARE & mEDICAID SERVICES (cMS) Infection Control Regulation
Phase 3 of the Infection Control regulation went into effect November 28, 2019. Phase 3 includes the requirement of specialized training in Infection Control. CMS and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) collaborated to launch a free and on-demand e-learning curriculum. This course can be accessed here. The training may take up to 20 hours. Upon completion of the online exam participants will receive a certificate.
